In this chapter some example application flows are described with the help of sequence diagrams. The following definitions are used throughout this chapter:

The Customer is an organisation that is registered as a tenant in the Valdit environment
The Client system is the application that makes calls to the API
The Business Entity is the representation of the business or organisation that hold the VAT number. In most cases this is the business partner or client of the Customer
A Validation Record contains the evidence of a VAT number validation as required by national Tax Administrations Whenever the API returns information it will be structured as follows:
