Run Automated validations to enhance Compliancy

Many businesses make repetitive sales to returning customers. In order to remain compliant, repeating VAT number validations are required. To support this scenario, the Valdit VAT Validation API has the built-in ability to run scheduled automated validations. The validations are automatically done on a regular basis, maintaining records including the VAT VIES consultation numbers. Automated validations ensure availability of a recent Validation record for each customer.

Instructing the API to start Automated validations is done by choosing a recurrence setting at the time of running the first validation. The Automated validation schedule can be set independently for every customer. Changes to the schedule can be made via the API.

In addition to ensuring recent Validation records, recurring validation allows the API to detect changes in the customer’s address or VAT registration status.
